SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
EDUCATING FUTURE MEDICAL LEADERS
There is a global shortage of doctors and each nation requires specific expertise.
The UK, itself, has an increasingly diverse multi-ethnic population drawn from across the world, requiring development of a locally derived medical workforce.
The Institute of Medicine at the University of Bolton welcomes all students and medical practitioners who wish to help their fellow citizens, demonstrating compassion, while alleviating suffering and improving quality of life. This requires the acquisition of sufficient knowledge and understanding to deliver holistic, compassionate and patient-centred care in a safe and professional manner. Our aim is to link academic excellence with patient respect and responsibility, promoting universal equality and inclusivity.
